About Hasan Jewellers — Gold, Diamond & Silver Jewellers in Bogura
Buying jewellery is rarely just a transaction. It marks an engagement, a wedding, the birth of a child, a promise kept. Hasan Jewellers exists to serve those moments for the families of Bogura — with certified gold, diamond, platinum and silver jewellery, priced honestly against the day’s rate.
You will find us at Golden Market on M A Khan Lane, and you are welcome to walk in and browse without any obligation to buy.
A Family Jewellery House in the Heart of Bogura
We are a family-run jewellery house, not a chain. That shapes everything about how we trade. When you ask what a piece weighs, you get the exact figure in vori, ana, roti and point. When you ask what it costs, you get today’s rate and the making charge stated separately — never bundled into one vague number.
Our customers tend to come back, and they tend to bring their families with them. That is the only marketing we have ever really relied on, and it is why we would rather lose a sale than talk someone into a piece that is wrong for them.
What You Will Find in Our Collection
We work in four metals, each with its own reason to be chosen:
- Gold — our largest collection, in 22K, 21K and 18K. Rings, chains, lockets, churi, bracelets, bangles, necklace sets, nosepins, earrings, gold coins and children’s jewellery.
- Diamond — engagement rings, earrings, lockets and nosepins, chosen for cut and clarity rather than carat weight alone.
- Platinum — rings, lockets and bracelets in a dense, hard-wearing metal that holds its finish for decades.
- Silver — everyday chains, bangles, churi, earrings and baby jewellery at accessible prices.
New designs arrive regularly, and we post them to Facebook and Instagram before they reach the website. If you have a design in mind that you cannot find in our cases, bring us a photograph and we will tell you what it would weigh and cost before any work begins.
Four Promises We Make on Every Purchase
Unbeatable daily value
Gold rates move every single day. Rather than inflate our prices to cushion that movement, we update our 18K, 21K, 22K and platinum rates daily and quote against the current figure. Today’s rate is published on our homepage, so you can check it before you leave the house.
Certified jewellery
Every piece we sell is purity-checked before it reaches our display. The karat and the exact weight are stated on your receipt — so what you are buying is written down, not just described.
Easy exchange
Tastes change, and so do occasions. Jewellery bought from Hasan Jewellers can be exchanged toward another piece, with your gold valued against the current rate rather than a discounted buy-back figure. Bring the item and your receipt to the showroom and our staff will walk you through the terms.
Lifetime servicing
Cleaning, polishing, re-sizing, and repairs to clasps and settings are available for the life of any piece bought from us. Bring it in and we will restore it rather than sell you a replacement.
Understanding Gold Weight and Purity
If you are new to buying gold, the pricing can seem opaque. It is not complicated once you know the two variables.
Weight. Gold in Bangladesh is measured in vori, subdivided into ana, roti and point. One vori is roughly 11.66 grams. So a bracelet listed at “4 ana 4 roti 4 point” is a little over a quarter of a vori.
Purity. Karat describes how much of the metal is gold. 22K is about 91.6% pure — the traditional choice for wedding and heirloom jewellery. 21K is marginally harder and holds intricate settings well. 18K, at 75% purity, is the most durable of the three and is commonly used where diamonds or stones are set into the piece.
The final price is the weight multiplied by the current per-gram rate for that karat, plus a making charge for the craftsmanship. We break that down for you at the counter — no surprises at the end.
Visit Our Showroom
Photographs flatten jewellery. Colour, weight and the way a piece catches light are things you have to see in person, so we would always rather you came in.

Common Questions
Where is Hasan Jewellers located?
At Golden Market on M A Khan Lane — also known locally as Merina Road — in Bogura.
Why are prices not listed on the website?
Because gold rates change daily, any fixed price we published would be wrong within a day. We show current per-gram rates on the homepage instead, and confirm the exact price of individual pieces over WhatsApp or in the showroom.
Which karats of gold do you sell?
22K, 21K and 18K. Which one suits you depends on the piece — we will talk you through the trade-off between purity and durability.
Can I exchange jewellery I bought from you?
Yes. Bring the piece and your receipt to the showroom and we will value your gold against the current rate. Our staff will explain the exact terms that apply to your item.
Do you make jewellery to order?
Yes. Bring a photograph or describe what you have in mind, and we will quote the weight, karat and making charge before starting work.
Do you sell anything other than gold?
We carry diamond, platinum and silver jewellery alongside our gold collection, including silver pieces suitable for everyday wear and for children.
Come and See for Yourself
